Car Accessories

Last weekend, my husband and I, together with the Fajardos went fishing in Bettendorf, Iowa. Hubby drove the car and we traveled for three hours. While on our way, we got lost because there were so many road constructions. Good thing we had the Global Positioning System in our car, usually referred to as GPS device. Just imagine without it we could be driving around the area. Having car accessories are very much important these days especially if you like hitting the road. It is very significant as the car itself. It can make your driving relaxed and pleasurable. If you are traveling with your family, the kids will enjoy watching movie if you have a car DVD player and good subwoofer. My husband and I love listening music so he installed cassette/CD combo in our car. And our favorite radio station is the WMBI 90.1 FM, Moody Radio. Other people may think having good car accessories are unnecessary but they just don’t know the significance or change it can make when having a long car trip.

My husband birthday will be tomorrow. I am thinking of giving him a gift like a car. lol. No, I am just kidding. Since he loves fishing, I think I would just buy him a fishing rod. Or maybe buy him accessories for his car like radar detector. It is a passive electronic device used to determine or monitor if your speed is being monitored by law enforcement. My husband has the tendency to over the speed limit, so this will save us money on speeding tickets. Got to go to the mall for the gifts and then buy groceries for the party.

Party for my baby

Next week, we will be having another party. But this time it is for my baby. Joanne is going to throw a baby shower for the baby and me. I am very grateful to her because she arranged everything from planning the date, creating the invitations, choosing the party theme, doing the shower favors and a lot more. Cliff, my husband nephew, is in charge of cooking and food preparation. The upcoming event will be held at our place. It is just a small party with relatives and friends. I am excited to meet my husband's other relatives. I hope everything will be ok.

Aside from baby shower, we also have two events to celebrate next week: my husband's birthday and Joanne graduation. I don’t have any gift yet. Tomorrow I’ll go to the mall and shop a gift.

Dinner time

My hubby and I had dinner at Fairbanks Steakhouse. I am not fond of eating steak but the Prime Rib that we ordered in this restaurant is excellent. The service was also superb; it was quiet, and well lit, very clean. I meet fellow Filipinos and they’re all very friendly. I also enjoyed the baked potatoes with sour cream and bacon. After dinner, we went to Hollywood casino and played for a couple of hours.

Last night, we went to Hollywood Casino in Aurora. My husband received free Epic Buffet good for two as a gift for his birthday. My Ninang got free buffet too so we decided to go there and used it. They have variety of food from international, continental and local cuisine. After dinner, we went to casino and played the slot machines. And you know what? I won the penny slot machines. I am so happy. I won almost 300 dollars. lol. By midnight, we went home.

He is so handsome. I like the Ray-Ban of Robert Pattison and his executive suit too. According to news, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison are dating. I think it is just a publicity for their upcoming movie. But if they really are in love and dating, then that's good news especially for their fans. Though I can say they look good together.

The American actress and singer, Scarlett Johansonn is the new model of Mango Ads. She replaced the Penelope Cruz for their Fall/Winter 2009 ad campaign. She looks beautiful and sexy on that ads but I prefer Penelope Cruz as Mango model. Scarlett is also the face model of Dolce & Gabbana's makeup line. She married Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds last year, September 27, 2008 in Tofino, Brithis Columbia.

My New Template

Got tired with old template so I have decided to look for a new template. Something that is girly, simple and has 3 columns. I found these two templates from http://www.ipietoon.com. As you can see I chose the Fashionholic-Bie Templates because it has more tabs and i like the background which is blue. Though my blog title "Yellow n Pink" is not appropriate. Maybe I should call it then "Blue n Pink". lol. My blog needs more improvement. I hope I will be able to fix it before end of this week.

Just speaking of the pain that you'll go through to have the tattoo. gosh! i don't think i can endure that pain.
